Ellen, after 5 attempts to program a remote it begins to drop the others already programmed. Hold within the smart button for about 15 seconds. This clears the board. I do have a homelink opener in my automotive that works superb with the primary opener. I tried clearing the codes and it didn’t appear to help. Any options?
Angela…the mschine will solely settle for 5 remotes complete..Four remotes and one keypad in different phrases..or visa versa..first clear the codes by holding the purple learn button in for about 20 seconds..then press and release the study button and enter your 4 digit number into the keypad..press the enter key down and hold it down til you see the lightbulb on the machine flash and you hear a click. The keypad is in there now. Now the remotes..the remotes should be learned by the automotive first..program the distant to the car..after the automotive has accepted the code..press and launch the red learn button after which press and hold the vehicles homelink button. You should see the lightbulb flash again and listen to the click. If you can get just one or two remotes to program or they are going to program one and never the opposite..it has a foul logic board and needs replacing..hope this helps..Joe

Once you loosen the chain just a little..take the bolt out of the rail that the traveler is jammed towards. Now, earlier than you turn the machine back on..turn your up limit screw to open less. Id say flip it at least a full flip..thentighten the chain back up put the bolt again in after which reset your limits. I can not get the new remotes to program in any respect. I did set the 9 dip switches. On my 2 existing remotes, I did get the washed one to program once more. However no mater what procedure I try I can solely get one remote to program to the door. I wiped the opener clear by urgent button for six seconds. All remotes have been cleared. I then held transmitter, noticed led in opener blinking, hit study button for 1 second. That one works. When i add the second remote in the same method door open or door closed it’ll erase the primary distant. So no mater what the one distant that works is the last one programed. I’ve 2 doorways and it is similar on both. I am at the point of buying new models. These are somewhat older but I consider they’re more current than the 1997 that everyone refers to.
Kewon..no sorry they wont work with one another..Each have completely different frequencys..if it has a crimson square button..it uses a 971LM remote..the new machines have a purple sq. button and it uses a 371LM

Hey Joe is it possible to program outdated remotes to a newer opener? I tried to program without any success the weird thing is that after programming the old one, once i strive to use it the light blinks as if its getting the signal however the door does not transfer…

Can 971ML(390MHz) remote be programmed with Chamberlain 248730 opener (it makes use of distant 950D 315MHz)? Thanmks
