How to Make a Virtual CD-ROM Drive on the Hard DriveA virtual CD-ROM drive is a special form of software package that is certainly meant to read or “mount” CD or DVD image files on your hard disk drive. Mounting a CD or DVD image file in a virtual drive lets you see the image file as though it were an actual physical disk in the physical drive.
